DAY 1: HANOI – SAPA – MOANA ( – / L / D )
06h00-06h30: Car and tour guide pick you up in the Old Quarter and Opera House area to depart for the Ha Giang tour. In the morning, the car will stop for you to rest and have breakfast at a restaurant in the Kim Anh Intersection area (the beginning of the highway) or at a rest stop on the highway.
Note: If your flight is early or departs the night before, the car can pick you up at Noi Bai Airport or at hotels in Dien Xa area near the airport on the morning of departure.
13h00-13h30: Arrive in Sapa, eat lunch and check in at the hotel.
14h30: Tour guide picks you from the hotel and takes you to Moana. A check-in area with man-made structures but arranged in harmony with nature to create a unique, strange and beautiful landscape. The check-in area is only 500m from the Stone Church, with the view embracing the Hoang Lien Son range and the majestic Fansipan peak. This place consists of seven categories, attracting young people by many unique miniatures. There are Bali heaven gate, Moana girl statue, infinity lake, golden hand, death swing, lonely tree and coffee area.
18h30: Having dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. Especially on Saturday night, we highly recommend a stop at the Love Market – one of the unique cultures of ethnic minorities in northwest Vietnam. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.
DAY 2: SAPA – CAT CAT VILLAGE – FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN ( B / L / D )
07.00: Have breakfast in the hotel.
08.00: Car and tour guide take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to start the journey to conquer Fansipan with the world’s most modern 3-wire cable car system with a cabin that can accommodate up to 30 visitors. Then continue conquering to the top of Fansipan at 3.143m higher from sea-level, the roof of Indochina.
11.30: Back to Sapa, have lunch and rest.
14.30: You will start hiking to Cat Cat Village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in the twentieth century. You will experience the tribal way of life of ethnic minorities while enjoying wonderful views of the terraced rice paddy fields and the waterfall in Cat Cat village. Visitors will also understand culture, unique customs, traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, forged agricultural tools… Come back to the hotel.
18.30: Having dinner. After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping. DAY 3: SAPA – RONG MAY GLASS BRIDGE – LAI CHAU – DIEN BIEN (B / L / D)
06h30: Have breakfast in the hotel. Check out the hotel
07h00: The car and tour guide will pick you up to visit the Rong May Glass Bridge tourist area on the O Quy Ho Heaven Gate area in Tam Duong district, Lai Chau province. The tour guide will guide you to buy tickets to visit and have fun with the following options:
- Glass Bridge Elevator
- Games: Single-log bridge, Speed Zipline, Death swing, Infinity bed
After leaving Cau Kinh, you continue to conquer O Quy Ho pass to Tam Duong district to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the mountains and rivers. Take pictures with Lai Chau city monument, pass Phong Tho land with picturesque roads; cross Nam Na river and then reach the center of Muong Lay district with layers of stilt houses of the Black Thai people as far as the eye can see.
12h00: Lunch at a restaurant in Muong Lay town. After lunch, the group continues by car to Dien Bien.
15h00: Arriving at Dien Bien Phu city, the car will take you to visit:
- Visit Dien Bien Phu Victory Monument.
- Visit De Castries bunker, the workplace and command post of General Christian de Castries, then continue to visit and take pictures with Muong Thanh bridge and Nam Rom river.
- Hill A1, the place that marked the fierce battle of the past.
18h00: Check in hotel, rest.
19h00: Dinner. Free evening. You can also request to book dinner and cultural exchange at the Black Thai village to learn more about the local Thai culture (at your own expense). Overnight in Dien Bien.
DAY 4: DIEN BIEN – MOC CHAU – BẠCH LONG – GLASS BRIDGE (B / L / D)
06h30: Have breakfast in the hotel. Check out the hotel.
07h30: You board the bus to Moc Chau. On the way, the tour guide will introduce Muong Phang, a historical site with the Dien Bien Phu campaign command center, directly commanded by the late General Vo Nguyen Giap in the 1954 Dien Bien Phu campaign.
Crossing Tuan Giao district, you will conquer Pha Din pass, 32km long, located on National Highway 6, in Tuan Giao district of Dien Bien and Thuan Chau district of Son La. Stop at the top of the pass to take souvenir photos; On the way back to Moc Chau, you will pass through Son La city, stop to take photos with Son La city monument, Co Noi 3-way intersection monument.
12h00: Lunch in Moc Chau. After lunch, you continue to visit:
In the afternoon: Tour guide takes you to visit (ticket not included):
- Dai Yem waterfall – A small waterfall but has a charming beauty. Legend has it that this waterfall is the strip of the girl’s shirt that saved the boy from the flood.
- Next, the car takes the group to Muong Sang. Here, you are free to choose one of two famous attractions: Happy Land or the world’s longest Bach Long Glass Bridge.
Happy land flower garden – Happy land has an area of nearly 5 hectares, located in the middle of a large valley in Lun village, Muong Sang commune. Coming here, visitors will be welcomed by flower carpets grown from many different types of flowers, including typical flowers of the Northwest region).
Bach Long Glass Bridge spans two mountains with a distance of 285m, 2.4m wide with extremely large glass panels of 2.4m x 3m. Applying 9D effect technology with 60 simulated visual and sound effects to create a feeling; Glass Skywalk continues the bridge running 370m long on the cliff (150m deep). There are 02 protruding points 3m wide, 5m long with a panoramic view of the tourist area for customers to take photos and check in.
18h30: Return to the restaurant for dinner. After dinner, the car will take you back to the hotel to check in and rest. In the evening, you are free to explore Moc Chau at night. Overnight in Moc Chau.
DAY 5: MOC CHAU – MAI CHAU – HANOI ( B / L / – )
06h15: Check out and get on the bus to have breakfast at the restaurant.
07h00: The car starts taking you to visit:
- Heart shaped tea hill: Perhaps this is not only the most beautiful tea hill of Moc Chau Plateau but also the most beautiful tea hill of Vietnam because of the green tea rows, round and winding as far as the eye can see, bringing a romantic and peaceful feeling. This is also the raw material area to produce the famous brand of Oolong tea.
- Na Ka Plum valley with a wild and strange landscape. Especially in the season of pure white plum blossoms or in the autumn of ripe fruit, Na Ka seems to put on a splendid and magical coat. (Note: Na Ka point can only be visited during plum blossom season or fruit picking season. When it is not plum blossom or fruit season, the tour guide will spend more time visiting other points).
- Stop at the center to introduce and sell typical products in Moc Chau, especially products from fresh cow’s milk produced in this highland. You are free to buy gifts for yourself, friends and relatives.
- Mộc Châu các mùa hoa trái: Depending on the time, the tour guide will take you to take pictures with the flower gardens and fruit gardens typical of Moc Chau. Surely you will be surprised and impressed by the vibrant and attractive beauty. (Note: how these flower and tree gardens turn out depends entirely on the weather and the people’s planting plans).
- Peach blossom season is in full bloom during the Lunar New Year every year.
- White mustard season is abundant on the hills before and after the Lunar New Year
- Buckwheat flower season is bustling from around September to December
- Red strawberry picking season is in the winter months and at other times
- And many local specialties spread throughout the year
12h00: Lunch in Mai Chau. After lunch, you can explore Mai Chau valley by bicycle (or electric car, bicycle or electric car rental fee is self-sufficient). You will visit the small and pretty stilt houses of the Thai people to learn about their unique culture, visit the brocade stalls, learn how to weave brocade of the Thai people and buy souvenirs here. Then you are free to cycle or walk and shop, take pictures.
15h00: You get on the bus back to Hanoi. On the way back, stop to rest at Ba Vi milk specialty to buy gifts for friends and relatives.
19h00: The car will take you to Hanoi. End of the Northwest tour. See you again!
Note: The tour schedule can be adjusted, starting from Hanoi to Mai Chau, with the last destination being Sapa, based on room availability and weather conditions. Our company will make suitable changes as necessary.
