Day 0: Hanoi → Ha Giang (~ 300 km)
We offer two transportation options from Hanoi to Ha Giang. Please choose one, and I will check availability and confirm with you. We also provide Free accommodation for your first night in a dorm room in Ha Giang City, as you will arrive either late at night or early the next morning.
Option 1: Limousine bus, departing at 4:00PM and arriving in Ha Giang at 10:00PM.
Option 2: Sleeper bus, departing at 8:00 PM and arriving in Ha Giang at 2:00 AM.
Note: The bus will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter 30 minutes to 1 hour before departure, depending on your location. Dinner is at your own expense.
– You can leave your luggage at our Ha Giang City hostel and take only essentials. The tour ends back at the hostel before leaving Ha Giang.
Day 1: Ha Giang – Bac Sum Pass – Quan Ba – Yen Minh (B/L/D)
07:30 Breakfast at the hotel or local restaurant in Ha Giang city.
08:00 We start driving to 4C highway (happiness road) and take photo at “Km 0”, then we get out of the city and stop at the most beautiful view points on the way.
Ride through Bac Sum Pass and Quan Ba Heaven Gate, panoramic views of Twin Mountains.
☞ Lunch in Tam Son town.
☞ Visit Lung Tam Brocade Village – traditional weaving from flax.
☞ Ride through Can Ty Pass with stunning valleys.
☞ Ove rnight in Yen Minh homestay with dinner & “happy water” party.
Day 2: Yen Minh – Tham Ma Pass – Lung Cu – Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Meo Vac (B/L/D)
Breakfast, then ride to Tham Ma Pass (zigzag road).
Stop at Pho Cao Village, known as the “Swiss-style village” of Ha Giang.
☞ Visit Lung Cu Flag Tower, northernmost point of Vietnam, and explore Lo Lo Chai Village.
☞ Lunch at Dong Van town.
☞ Ride across the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass on the Happiness Road.
☞ Optional trek along the Sky Walk for panoramic views.
☞ Dinner & overnight in Meo Vac homestay with local H’Mong culture.
Day 3: Meo Vac – Nho Que River – Mau Due – Ha Giang (B/L)
Breakfast in Meo Vac.
☞ Boat trip on Nho Que River, admire Tu San Canyon – the deepest gorge in Southeast Asia.
☞ Scenic ride through Mau Due, Thai An Village, and Lo River Valley.
4:00 PM: Arrive at our Ha Giang city office. You will have some free time for dinner (at your own expense) while waiting for the bus back to Hanoi.
From Ha Giang city to Hanoi, there are sleeper buses at two departure times. Please choose one, and I will check availability and confirm with you:
Sleeper bus: Departs at 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, arriving in Hanoi at 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM.
Note: Upon arrival in Hanoi, the bus will stop at a designated drop-off point on Tran Quang Khai Street, Hoan Kiem District. You will need to arrange your own transfer back to your hotel.
