☞ Hanoi → Vientiane: The bus departs around 17h00-18h00 to Cau Treo Ha Tinh border gate around 4-5am and the border gate opens at 7am. You do the procedures and continue to move to Vientiane, time 20 hours, around 15:00 the next day.
☞ Hanoi → Luang Prabang: The bus departs around 17h00-18h00 to Nam Can Nghe An border gate around 4-5am and the border gate works at 7am. You do the procedures and continue to move to Luang Prabang, 24 hours about 18h00 the next day to arrive.
☞ Hanoi → Lao Bao (Quang Tri) Vietnam visa run – Hanoi bus goes to Lao Bao border gate for visa: Many customers want to go to the border gate to complete exit and entry procedures. Guests who are afraid to apply for a Visa first should go to Lao Bao. Currently, Lao Bao border gate still makes Visas for visitors at the border gate, not Cau Treo, visitors must apply for a visa first to go. 15:30 pick up the car and drive around 8:00 the next day to Lao Bao Border Gate. 15h00 The car runs from Lao Bao Border Gate to Hanoi.
☞ Which countries enjoy visa-free benefits with Laos?
As stated above, all members of ASEAN are free to enter Laos without a visa. These countries include Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. There are also non-ASEAN member countries with visa-exempt status. These are Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Cuba, DPR Korea, Hungary, India, Japan, Mongolia, Peru, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Poland, Russia, South Korea, and Timor Leste.
